In a development that shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s been watching the trailers and/or seen a Timur Bekmambetov movie, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER has been given an R rating by the MPAA for “violence throughout and brief sexuality.”
And in a concurrent ratings development that isn’t necessarily surprising so much as it is intriguing, CLOUD ATLAS has been give an R rating by the MPAA for “violence, language, sexuality/nudity and some drug use.”
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER slashes its way into cinemas June 22nd, while CLOUD ATLAS does whatever a CLOUD ATLAS does on December 6th.
