The last bit of new we brought you surrounding the upcoming ninth film by Quentin Tarantino was to let you know the film was currently looking for a new studio after parting ways with the Weinstein Company.
Not only that but the new film is currently out looking for cast, including such megastar names as Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
But today we have news that the Charles Manson-centric flick isn't Manson-centric after all.
Which is too bad.
Tarantino recently spoke to IndieWire and dropped the quickest update on the film, simply saying:
It’s not Charles Manson, it’s 1969.
While that doesn't give us anything to go on, at least for the time being we can say that Tarantino's new film will not be centered around Charles Manson, Sharon Tate, and/or The Manson Family.
Which, again, is too bad.
Personally, I would have loved to see Tarantino's no doubt unique take on Manson and Helter Skelter. What do you think? Make sure to hit us up and let us know in the comments below or on social media!
