Hopefully Cary Elwes doesn’t get screwed over his paycheck for his latest horror film like he did for
SAW. Elwes stars in the new horror flick PSYCH 9, which is directed by Andrew Shortell and was penned by Lawrence Robinson. The new trailer for the film has been stocked on the Official Website’s shelves, and it looks pretty cool. The film is cleary taking more of a “thriller” type approach to the scares rather than joining the many, many films coming out these days that are full with tons and tons of gore.
PSYCH 9 is about an unstable woman who takes up a job filling patient records at a recently closed hospital, but soon after starting work, she realizes that the hospital she is working in is connected to a series of brutal murders.
Cary Elwes isn’t the only notable name in this film either, as one of my favorite actors from 80’s action-lore is in the film – none other than Michael Biehn. Biehn and Elwes are joined by Sara Foster and Gabriel Mann.
