Prom Night stills

So I hope I’m not alone when I say I hate this stupid remake “phenomenon” that’s plaguing cinema’s everywhere. Why do I need to see a film that was made once before? Like do I really need to see Gus Van Sant make PSYCHO looks exactly the same as it did when Hitchcock made it? Or Rob Zombie butchering a horror classic to make it “his own”. I don’t think so.

So knowing that PROM NIGHT is getting remade only makes me loathe horror that much more right now. With that said, Sony Screen Gems gave B-D a look at two stills from the film, which can be seen here. Nothing special here, just some mildly attractive blond girl living up to the horror stereotype.

Already rated PG-13, the film follows Donna’s senior prom that is supposed to be the best night of her life, one of magic, beauty, and love. Surrounded by her best friends, she should be safe from the horrors of her past. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible…the man she thought was gone forever. Now, Donna and her friends must find a way to escape the sadistic rampage of an obsessed killer, and survive their Prom Night. Read on for the still and check it out in theaters April 11.

Oh great, another PG-13 cash cow to bring in the 10 year old pre-pubescent boys who haven’t discovered porn yet, into theaters. The film stars Brittany Snow (below), Johnathon Schaech, and Brianne Davs (above).
