The X-Men flicks have a hard task in juggling all the mutants in each film, let alone what they can show you of them in the trailers. There's been some interesting discussion given that Quicksilver will be in both X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON. An interesting coincidence is that while Aaron Taylor-Johnson will portray him in Joss Whedon's opus, his Kick-Ass co-star, Evan Peters, is tackling the character for Bryan Singer. If anything, it'll be interesting to see how two different film studios and directors take on the same character. There's only two weeks left until you get your mutant fix, and to help curb that appetite, here's a profile video of Twentieth Century Fox's version of Quicksilver, courtesy of Total Film.

Initially, the hair was a turnoff (both Quicksilvers seem to have that issue with me) but in this video, we get a glimpse at his attitude, which gives him some nice character (love that bit with the hat). Crazy super fast antics aside, the closer we get to the release date, the more excited I am for a Bryan Singer-directed X-Men movie. Not to set any high expectations, but the man delivered one of the best of the genre with X2. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER has been the comic book film to beat this year for me, so let's see if X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST can rise to the challenge.
The film launches in theaters May 23, 2014.
