This podcast just keeps getting better and better!
As you guys know, I shared news that genre legend Mick Garris had started a new podcast with POST MORTEM. In that article I mentioned that the podcast was one that every horror fan should subscribe to. And I stand by that statement. Get on it, dudes!
In the premiere episode Garris interviewed Rob Zombie (listen that one HERE) and, boy, did I think THAT was cool. But that was nothing compared to this week's episode – only the podcast's second episode, mind you. This weeks POST MORTEM guest where Joe Dante & John Landis!
That's right, the directors of GREMLINS and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Together on one podcast. With the director of THE STAND. Damn. That is one hell of a genre round table!
To make matters better, the three sit around and talk the political undercurrents in their films, and horror films in general. Now I'm not usually for listening to others talk politics, in fact I'd rather eat hot glass, but when the discussion is between three classic horror directors, and they approach the subject with such intelligence, it's hard to turn your ears away.
Anyways, enough talking about the damn episode, you can listen to it yourself RIGHT HERE. Enjoy!
