I swear I'm not trying to make AITH the official news spot for all things STEPHEN KING'S IT.
I'm not. I promise. That said, it was only earlier today that I shared director Andy Muschietti's thoughts on the 1990 IT miniseries, and I try to limit my IT posts to one a day (if that).
But, come on. This is too cool to pass up.
Turns out that there is an official 8-bit video game of IT available now on the movie's official website.
And being a dude that isn't too much into video games – especially of the 8-bit variety – let me just say that it is awesome and addictive.

Now I'm going to admit right now that my fumbling-fingered ass has yet to get more than 3k points at this game, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be wasting mucho time on this shite once my shift is up.

IT synopsis:
A group of young kids faces their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
IT is directed by Andrés Muschietti from a script by Chase Palmer & Cary Joji Fukunaga and Gray Dauberman, based on the novel by Stephen King.
The film stars Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, Nicholas Hamilton, Owen Teague, Javier Botet, Steven Williams, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
IT hits theaters (including IMAX) nationwide September 8th.
