Raise your hand if you liked Tim Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES? No really, I’m not kidding, you can raise your hands, don’t be bashful. Oh I see, no one did, okay then.
Like I always say, you fail upwards in Hollywood, a tipster gave B-D some very interesting news today. This would be the news of, no not a sequel, but a prequel to Burton’s PLANET OF THE APES. Yes it’s being specially made for the 25 people that bought it on DVD after they saw it in theaters, as a special thanks from the producers. The movie is currently being shopped around to different directors in Hollywood, and unless they have no respect for themselves, they should steer far away from it.
No really, why? It was really bad. The series had like a thousand movies in it already, and then Tim Burton shat all over it. We don’t need anymore. Unless there’s a scene where Mark Walhberg breaks out into Good Vibrations whilst stripping during a grotesque monkey-on-human-on a mound of dung action, I mark today as the start of the official boycott anymore PLANET OF THE APES movies campaign.
