So I've already sang the praises for the promising looking horror-comedy creature feature PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN, which is basically an R-Rated ET, where instead of a cute little alien puppet, it's a badass, violent alien bounty hunter. Here's the official synopsis:
Siblings Mimi and Luke unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord. Using a magical amulet, they force the monster to obey their childish whims, and accidentally attract a rogues' gallery of intergalactic assassins to small-town suburbia.
The film was supposed to premiere as an official selection at SXSW, but obviously events colluded to prevent that from happening. However, now it looks like it's finally getting distribution, with a theatrical run through RLJE Films later this year, then streaming on Shudder in 2021. Aweseome!
Meanwhile, here's what RLJE Films chief acquisitions officer Mark Ward said about the film:
PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN is a perfect movie for all of us who grew up in a video store…It has so much heart, thrills and fun that we believe this could be a franchise. We love this movie.
So what do you guys think? You excited for PG: PSYCHO GOREMAN as well? Either way, sound off below!
