ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is now officially playing in theaters and audiences seem to be having quite a lot of fun with it for the most part. Arriving just several months after AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, the much lighter ANT-MAN sequel gives us a little bit of a Marvel Cinematic Universe palette cleanser after the dark events of INFINITY WAR. Our own Chris Bumbray enjoyed the film, calling it "slick and fun" despite it being a lower key MCU flick in his review. "The Ant-Man series almost plays like a breath of fresh air given how weighty BLACK PANTHER and INFINITY WAR were and, even if it’s unlikely to become a major favorite the way those will, Marvel's got this stuff down to a science," Bumbray said. Director Peyton Reed stopped by Vanity Fair recently for the latest installment of Notes on a Scene, where he broke down the fast-paced fight scene between Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and a group of baddies in a kitchen. The official synopsis for ANT-MAN AND THE WASP:

In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission.
