Justice is an illusion for some in HBO‘s new Perry Mason Season 2 trailer, starring Matthew Rhys as a criminal defense lawyer hellbent on bringing light to the darkest places. The series, produced by Team Downey, returns for an eight-episode run on Monday, March 6 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

In the Perry Mason Season 2 trailer, a group of men becomes accused of murdering an influential figure, though Perry Mason thinks they’re innocent. To see justice done, Mason gathers his most-trusted associates to help solve the case and bring the actual perpetrators before the court. As Mason investigates the matter, old wounds open up, and he spirals. With wolves closing in and the fate of the innocent depending on his next moves, Mason struggles to solve the mystery and expose the real criminals.
