Amanda Peet, whose hotness has seen a surprising decline over the years, has, along with Oliver Platt and Rebecca Hall, joined the cast of indie queen Nicole Holofcener’s upcoming as yet untitled dramedy. The film centers on a couple (Catherine Keener and Platt) who live next to an elderly woman whose apartment they own and are waiting for her to croak so they can reclaim the place. They run into a bit of a hitch when they become friends with the woman’s granddaughters (Peet and Hall). Production is expected to begin in mid-May with the hope to wrap before the potential SAG strike. Holofcener of course wrote the screenplay and will direct. Peet can next be seen uncovering the truth in the upcoming X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE.
