There are more revivals of classic TV shows out there every day, and the latest to join the pack is Mad About You, the '90s romantic comedy which starred Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt as Paul and Jamie Buchman, a married couple living in New York City.
Sony Pictures has released the first teaser for the revival series, which takes place twenty years after the original and continues to explore modern marriage through the eyes of the Buchman’s, who are now newly minted empty-nesters after dropping their unpredictable, hard-to-control daughter Mabel (Abby Quinn) off at college. As I've never actually watched Mad About You, this teaser isn't giving me that tingle of nostalgia which these revival's typically bank on, so I'll leave it up to the fans of Mad About You out there to decide whether or not this revival is worth your time. In addition to Reiser and Hunt, Carol Burnett will also be returning as Jamie's mother. The first six-episodes are set to debut on Spectrum on November 20th, with the remaining six set to hit on December 19th. Will you be watching?
