Paul Campion’s The Devil’s Rock makes six-digit deal. Gets distributed across UK

We just got word on EEL GIRL director Paul Campion making a nice six digit deal with Metrodome regarding the distribution in the UK for his military themed horror flick THE DEVIL’S ROCK. If you’re also a fan of WETA this might be something that’ll interest you. WETA is already mastering the special effects for the film’s post production. No lie. This will be Paul Campion’s first feature length flick but if it’s any consolation to all you doubters out there fret not, Metrodome has big (and I mean BIG) plans for this little puppy.

Lots of great buzz is starting to make this six digit deal sizzle even more. With a UK distribution already in the works there could be signs of a US distribution as well. One can only hope though. The UK distribution was made at the American Film Market and is being said that it’ll be distributed in New Zealand by Vendetta Films.

Here’s a synopsis that’ll explain THE DEVIL’S ROCK in all its epicness:

Set in the Channel Islands during WWII the film follows a pair of New Zealand military officers sent in as saboteurs to destroy a German military bunker. What they don’t know is that the encamped Germans have been using the remote bunker to conduct occult experiments in the hopes of summoning a demon. They have succeeded. And the demon is not friendly.

Stick around with us as we bring you more news on THE DEVIL’S ROCK. Word is that a trailer will be hitting up the net very soon.
