The Star Wars news just keeps coming. We heard a lot of great announcements on the small-screen side of things, but Disney obviously has big plans for the future of Star Wars in theaters, and they've announced that Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins will be directing Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, a new feature-film which is sure to including plenty of dog-fights, space-battles, and all that good stuff. Rogue Squadron will be the first Star Wars feature directed by a woman and is slated to hit theaters on December 22, 2023.

Additionally, Thor: Love & Thunder director Taika Waititi is currently in development of another brand-new Star Wars feature film, with Disney saying, "Get ready for an unforgettable ride!" We've known that Waititi has been working on a Star Wars film for a little while, but it's nice to get confirmation that he's still working on the project.
