Deadline has reported that Patrick Schwarzenegger has joined the cast of The Terminal List, an upcoming conspiracy thriller series for Amazon that is based on Jack Carr's best-selling novel.
The Terminal List centers around James Reece after his "entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he love." Chris Pratt is slated to play Reece, with Patrick Schwarzenegger playing Donny Mitchell, the baby-faced youngest member of the team. "While the other guys crack jokes as a way to cope with what they’ve seen, Donny’s feisty sense of humor is different," reads Deadline's description. "He’s only seen the brotherhood of the SEALs in times of strength, not yet in times of suffering. As the platoon’s point man, he is the first to lead the team into unsecured territory." In addition to Pratt and Schwarzenegger, The Terminal List also stars Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards, a former SEAL and Reece's best friend. as well as Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, a risk-seeking war correspondent. The series will be directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by David DiGilio, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer.
Patrick Schwarzenegger can currently be seen in Netflix's Moxie, a comedy/drama that stars Hadley Robinson as a shy 16-year-old fed up with the sexist and toxic status quo at her high school who finds inspiration from her mother’s rebellious past and anonymously publishes a zine that sparks a school-wide, coming-of-rage revolution.
