When troubled college freshman Luke (Miles Robbins) suffers a violent family trauma, he resurrects an imaginary friend from his childhood in order to help him cope. Although charismatic and full of energy, the imaginary Daniel (Patrick Schwarzenegger) winds up pushing Luke to the brink of sanity. Directed and co-written by Adam Egypt Mortimer, DANIEL ISN'T REAL looks absolutely bizarre, and Samuel Goldwyn Films have released a trippy trailer which doesn't offer a hell of a lot of answers. In addition to Robbins (HALLOWEEN) and Schwarzenegger (MIDNIGHT SUN), DANIEL ISN'T REAL also stars Sasha Lane (HELLBOY), Hannah Marks (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency), and Mary Stuart Masterson (SKIN).
