Terry Gilliam’s upcoming THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS has been getting mixed reviews but the film will likely ultimately find an audience as the swan song of Heath Ledger. Despite having to be labeled as the movie featuring Ledger’s final performance, however, this thing is absolutely bursting with creativity and, of course, imagination. Just check out these pics that recently surfaced online. This looks like Gilliam at his most wonderfully absurd. In it, the titular Parnassus travels the world giving people the experience of a lifetime with his titular imaginarium but when a deal he made a long time ago comes back to haunt him, things get serious. No stateside release date has been set.
