Ozark: New teaser reveals release date for the first part of its fourth & final season

I hate that one of my favorite shows is coming to an end but we all know it’s best to go out when you’re on top of your game. Netflix’s Ozark has been remarkable television since it made its debut on the streamer and now we have an official release date for the debut of the first part of the show’s fourth and final season.

Part 1 of the fourth and final season of Ozark premieres on January 21, 2022. Season four will be released in two parts consisting of 7 episodes each so at least we have 14 total episodes left to follow the Byrde family and their exploits. Per Netflix, “Ozark is a thrilling drama set in the present-day and follows the Byrde family’s journey from their normal, suburban Chicago life to their dangerous criminal enterprise in the Ozarks, Missouri. The series explores capitalism, family dynamics, and survival through the eyes of (anything but) ordinary Americans.” The show stars Jason Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Lisa Emery, Felix Solis, Damian Young, Alfonso Herrera, Adam Rothenberg, John Bedford Llyod, Joseph Sikora, Bruno Bichir, CC Castillo, Katrina Lenk, Bruce Davison, Ali Stroker, and Veronica Falcon.

Ozark has been a critical darling since its premiere in 2017. The series has received 32 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including two for Outstanding Drama series, with Bateman winning for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series in 2019 and Julia Garner winning twice consecutively for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019 and 2020. Bateman has received two further Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor – Television Series Drama.
