Out of Death trailer: Bruce Willis, Jaime King star in July action thriller

The amount of movies Bruce Willis has done for EFO Films is right about 20 at this point, and the next one to make its way out into the world will be Out of Death, which is set to receive a theatrical and On Demand release on July 16th, courtesy of Vertical Entertainment. With less than a month to go before the film's debut, a trailer has arrived online and can be seen in the embed above!

Directed by Mike Burns from a screenplay by Bill Lawrence, Out of Death also stars Jaime King, Lala Kent, and Michael Sirow. Here's the synopsis:

Retired cop Jack Harris’s (Bruce Willis) solace in the remote wilderness is hijacked when he encounters a lone hiker, Shannon (Jaime King), who’s on the run from dirty police. Determined to help her at any cost, Jack must tap into his killer instincts to survive the wilderness and the human predators within it.

And here's another synopsis with more information:

Still grieving the untimely death of her father, photojournalist Shannon Mathers (Jamie King) spreads his ashes in the woods when she witnesses a cop (Lala Kent) shooting and killing an unarmed henchman during a drug deal. She captures the whole scene on her camera before being discovered. Shot at, scared, helpless and on the run, she races her way through the woods with no recognition of her location. Distracted by the violent noise of the attack, Jack Harris (Bruce Willis) a newly retired police officer who is relaxing at his cabin, saves Shannon just in time and the two narrowly escape into the woods. Not sure of whom she can trust, as more dirty cops arrive to help hunt her down, including the brutal town sheriff Hank Rivers (Michael Sirow), she decides to rely on Jack, her only real chance to fight back the corrupt police and bring it to justice.

Out of Death was produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla, Shaun Sanghani, Chad A. Verdi, and Luillo Ruiz. The film has been rated R for "language throughout, violence, and drug use".

I haven't liked much that Willis has done in the last 10 years or so, but I might watch this one for the Jaime King of it all.
