I never understand how a studio can release a trailer in
theaters these days and not put it online at the same time (or
beforehand). I mean like…really? It’s the year 2011 people…get
with the program! That said, this weekend the bootleg trailer for David
Fincher’s highly-anticipated version of THE
GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO hit theaters (hence the Internet) which
includes a techno version of Led Zep playing in the background and plenty
of Kubrick references including shots similar to the SHINING and the final
big-lettered finale. Kudos to everyone involved and as for the
studio…c’mon guys, I know it’s a holiday weekend, but the Internet never
sleeps, remember? Get us that high-res trailer, yo! My favorite part of
the trailer? The tagline: THE FEEL BAD MOVIE OF CHRISTMAS.
Fincher!!!!
