A remake of 1988’s PIN is currently in the works. Although the original is often forgotten, it’s no surprise that another redux is coming. What makes this news exciting is that director Sandor Stern is returning to helm the picture. He is also co-writing the script with Jack Reher.
Stern, who wrote THE AMITYVILLE HORROR screenplay, adapted the original script from a novel by Andrew Neiderman. In the film, Ursula and Leon are sister and brother, living alone, save for a large wooden puppet they call “Pin” (for Pinocchio). When Ursula starts hanging around with new boyfriend Stan, Leon and Pin take action.
No other information is available at this time, but we’ll keep you updated. If you’ve never seen the original, it’s worth checking out. You can pick up the DVD here.
