Olivia Munn on why she doesn’t think she has a shot at playing Wonder Woman

Olivia Munn has made it very clear that she loves Wonder Woman. A lot. The presenter and actress also gets a lot of love from the geek community due to her appearances at Comic-Con, and many fans would love to see her as the Amazon Princess. So why doesn't Munn believe she has a chance at the part if a WONDER WOMAN or JUSTICE LEAGUE movie happens?

In an interview with the Boston Herald, Olivia Munn says that part of the reason is there will be a lot of competition with bigger-name actresses, but also feels at least part of the reason might come down to her heritage:

It would be great, though, if the producers could make Wonder Woman an Asian-American, but that's probably not what they would do. Changing the race of a character can really divide fans; just take a look at some of the comments in these articles about Michael B. Jordan possibly playing the Human Torch in FANTASTIC FOUR. I think most fans aren't racist, but they have this image of a character so embedded in their heads that their logical arguments end up sounding racist.  Personally, I think in some cases it might work and in others it won't, just like any other casting decision.

In this case I do think Olivia Munn would be a decent Wonder Woman, however I agree with Munn that since she isn't a well-known name it will probably prevent her from snagging the role. At least there are these pictures:
