The Harvesters Nick Sanford

Writer/director Nick Sanford's Halloween-set horror film THE HARVESTERS had its world premiere in Los Angeles back in October, but given the fact that the movie was shot entirely in Oklahoma it's only fair that it would get a special Oklahoma premiere as well.

THE HARVESTERS was filmed in the towns of Purcell, Tuttle, Newcastle, Bridge Creek, and Moore, and it's Moore – which also happens to be Sanford's home town – that has been chosen to be the location of the premiere. THE HARVESTERS will be showing for one night only, August 19th, in the auditorium of the Old Moore High School, which is located at 201 N. Broadway.

There will be two screenings of the film at the high school, one at 6pm and the second at 8:30pm. The price of admission is $8 per ticket.

Alissa Rose Ford, Laurie Cummings, Adam Hampton, Emmy-winner Jason Gwynn, Andrew McDonald Lucas Ross, Sidney Flack, Arden Moad, and Page Tudyk star in THE HARVESTERS, which has the following synopsis:

On Halloween in Baileyville, Oklahoma, a journalist who prides herself on objective reporting discovers that she is trapped in the middle of a series of horrifying murders and disappearances. When the terror intensifies and a countdown begins, the people closest to Jane are put in danger and her journalistic stance on “not becoming the story” is put to the ultimate test.

JimmyO produced the film awith Laurie Cummings, Paul Lister, and Andrew McDonald. McDonald had this to say about the premiere at the Old Moore High School:

It's a great location, and a perfect place to present the movie to the public. The atmosphere and the fact that it's been a part of Moore for so long will really add to the experience."

So if you're in the Moore, Oklahoma area next month, head over to the old high school on the 19th and enjoy the show!
