No Time To Die runtime makes it the longest Bond movie ever

Bond fans have been waiting a long time to see Daniel Craig’s last appearance as 007 due to the many COVID-related delays that have seen No Time To Die attached to several release dates. The film will finally see the light of day this October and when fans finally get to enjoy Bond’s latest adventure, they’re going to be in for one long ride.

No Time To Die reportedly runs for two hours and 43 minutes (via IndieWire). That’s right, at 163 minutes total, this makes No Time To Die the longest Bond movie ever. The previous winner of this crown was Spectre, which clocked in at 148 minutes. Despite No Time To Die’s almost three-hour runtime, I’m sure fans will be just fine with its length considering how many times the film’s release has been delayed.

No Time To Die was originally set to be released in November of 2019 but multiple delays followed as a result of Danny Boyle’s departure as the initial director of the film. The pandemic caused further delays which saw No Time To Die being taken off the 2020 release calendar entirely. Other tentative 2021 release dates followed before the film officially landed on September 30, 2021, for its release in the UK and October 8, 2021, for its release in the U.S.

The latest entry has Bond coming out of a 5-year retirement to help Britain’s secret service track down the source of disappearance of a number of prominent scientists, which leads back to a shadowy figure in control of dangerous new technology.  Daniel Craig returns as James Bond and is joined by Ana de Armas, Lea Seydoux, Rami Malek, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Billy Magnussen, Jeffrey Wright, Ben Whishaw and, Lashana Lynch.
