About fifteen months ago, we heard that 20th Century Studios had acquired the rights to a psychological thriller called No One Will Save You, which would be written and directed by Brian Duffield and had Booksmart (watch it HERE) star Kaitlyn Dever attached to star in it. That project has since made its way through production, and it has been announced that it’s going to be released through the Hulu streaming service on September 22nd.
No One Will Save You will be available to watch exclusively through Hulu in the U.S. It will be streaming on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ in all other territories.
Duffield previously wrote The Babysitter, Underwater, and Love and Monsters, and made his directorial debut with Spontaneous. The story he crafted for this film introduces Brynn Adams (Dever), a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up—until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders. What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.
Duffield produced the film alongside Star Thrower Entertainment’s Tim White, Trevor White, and Allan Mandelbaum. Dever served as executive producer with Joshua Throne.
With the release date just two months away, we should be seeing a trailer for No One Will Save You very soon.

I have enjoyed the other movies Duffield wrote and/or directed and was impressed by Dever’s work in Booksmart, so I will definitely be watching No One Will Save You later this year. I was sold on this one even before I knew it was an alien invasion story.
Along with the release date announcement, an image from the movie has arrived online and gives us our first look at Dever’s character. Here it is:
