Should the upcoming INCREDIBLE HULK prove successful (and all indications are that it will), the folks at the IESB have learned that star Ed Norton’s contribution to the script – he rewrote a large portion of Zak Penn’s original script – will apparently not be acknowledged. It seems sole writing credit on the film will go to Penn, as per the WGA’s complex and mostly ridiculous regulations for awarding writing credit. Not that a writer getting shafted on writing credit due to an archaic WGA arbitration is anything new but if the film does make some serious bank at the box office, it’s a shame the WGA dingbats won’t acknowledge Norton’s contribution. The Hulk smash begins June 13th.
No credit for Norton
