Whoa…Nicole Kidman in extreme intensity mode is no joke.
Just peep the new clip from Park Chan-wook’s STOKER we have below. In it you’ll see Nic deliver a subtle but scathing monologue to her daughter, played by Mia Wasikowska. Reminds of me of that intense bedroom scene with Cruise in EYES WIDE SHUT. Say what you will, the chick goes there when needed and I always appreciate her for that.
With Matthew Goode and Dermot Mulroney adding the testosterone – STOKER gets going after India’s father dies, her Uncle Charlie, who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother. She comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives and becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
The flick drops March 1st.
