Nick Groff is one of the most respected names in television and beyond when it comes to the paranormal. He has had incredible experiences in some of the most haunted locations in the world. As a friend to Arrow in the Head, we’ve shared some very exciting experiences with Nick including a couple of wild and spooky moments that we’ve managed to capture on camera. Thus, we’ve decided to work with the television host and producer extraordinaire so he can share his knowledge and insight on all things that go bump in the night. With this bi-monthly column, we plan to delve into everything from urban legends to ghostly apparitions, to his take on some of the coolest genre flicks ever. This is Nick Groff Investigates…!
NICK GROFF'S FINAL AITH INVESTIGATION!
Years ago, Nick Groff and Arrow in the Head started something truly special. It was an experience that has been both an education for myself, as well as a thrilling look at some of the spookiest locations imaginable. Nick and I began examining such haunted places as the Washoe Club in Virginia City, Nevada, Bobby Mackey's Music World in Kentucky, the Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles, California, and so much more. In addition to all the ghostly dwellings, we had the chance to talk about everything from The Shining to Poltergeist to My Bloody Valentine, and let us not forget a personal favorite for Nick, Night Breed.
The idea behind Nick Groff Investigates was to open up Mr. Groff's world and let the fans step inside to get a more personal look into his many adventures. What I've loved about the column is the behind-the-scenes look at the many ventures Nick has taken, that went sometimes much deeper into the story than you'd normally get from an interview. Not only have I heard him tell his scary tales, but I also had the incredible opportunity to join him on occasion. And needless to say, it's been a joy to follow him into the darkness and seek out what lies on the other side. It's been such an honor to work with him here and share all that we've learned with you, the fine readers at AITH.
However, all good things must come to an end. And yes, after the countless frights and fun that this has brought my way – and hopefully yours – it's time to say farewell. While Nick certainly still plans to share his stories, he has a brand new and exciting path that he's about to follow. I'm incredibly thrilled to have been a small part of it, and the wonderful connection between AITH and Mr. Groff is something I'll always be proud of. It's been a marvelous time taking on the paranormal in a enjoyable and unique way. And frankly, it's only built my fascination with the unknown.
For our final Nick Groff Investigates, I asked Nick to give a quick mention of some of his favorite locations. As well, I wanted to offer him the chance to bid us adieu until he takes his fans on an exciting new journey. And yes, if you know Nick at all, you'll realize that we have more to learn and to seek out. While it's certainly bittersweet to say goodbye to this, I'm happy to say that we've had so much fun bringing you all these scary tales of mysterious figures, strange voices calling from the darkened shadows to the possibilities of what may be visiting us from the great beyond.
You can check out Nick Groff's final farewell below, and make sure you follow Nick Groff Explorers on Facebook – you. can check that out here – as well as check out new episodes of Death Walker coming soon. However, I felt that this would be a great opportunity to share your stories, send well wishes, or perhaps just give Mr. Groff a shout-out. For me, I just wanted to say that it's been an honor working with you Nick. I'm beyond thrilled for what you have in store, but I'll always treasure our time on this very column. Thank you, Nick. And thank each and every one of you out there for sharing in our amazing expedition into the unknown.
"The journey of Nick Groff Investigates has led me into some weird and creepy topics. Some of my favorites are Ireland the cave where Halloween started, Linda Vista Hospital where I saw the lady spirit, Death Walker at Bobby Mackey's Music World where I explored the location for over a decade, and Octagon Hall Museum where I witnessed seeing a UFO in the sky as we were filming my series, Death Walker.
So many great experiences and stories throughout this rollercoaster ride. So many more locations and haunted areas to investigate around the world. I have been inspired to explore more on different topics within the paranormal. All new Death Walker episodes will be coming soon and investigations into the unknown. The future holds so many mysteries just like every time I step into a haunted location, but that is the exciting part of being an investigator, you never know what you will discover!
I have had an incredible time working on this article Nick Groff Investigates! John Fallon and Arrow In The Head have given incredible support and they've been amazing to work with.
