Nick Groff Investigates… Madison Seminary!

Nick Groff is one of the most respected names in television and beyond when it comes to the paranormal. He has had incredible experiences in some of the most haunted locations in the world. As a friend to Arrow in the Head, we’ve shared some very exciting experiences with Nick including a couple of wild and spooky moments that we’ve managed to capture on camera. Thus, we’ve decided to work with the television host and producer extraordinaire so he can share his knowledge and insight on all things that go bump in the night. With this bi-monthly column, we plan to delve into everything from urban legends to ghostly apparitions, to his take on some of the coolest genre flicks ever. This is Nick Groff Investigates…!

MADISON SEMINARY

There are places in the world where the unexplained appears to be as much a part of the location as the people that own them. One particular place located in Ohio, is the Madison Seminary. The current owner, Adam Kimmell, has done something quite special. He has taken incredible care of what people call "the most haunted place in Northeast, Ohio," and made it a place that anyone with an interest in the paranormal can visit. While I've never had the opportunity to check into this fascinating locale, it's certainly a place that I'd love to spend some time in.

Recently, we've been talking quite a bit about the upcoming series, "Nick Groff Investigates." And this is how I found out about Madison. Unaware of the spooky atmosphere, Nick sent me a few pictures of this incredible place. And frankly, even looking at the images on my phone, I was intrigued by the beauty and the impressive architecture, and the towering walls that hide secrets of the past. It's one of those places that'd be perfectly at home in a scary movie. Of course, some of the most stunning locations make for the scariest visits. 

Nick recently found himself at this fascinating place, as he continues his quest to find new evidence and an interesting story. And frankly, it appears that he has. This week, he discusses his connection with Madison Seminary and what his impression was stepping in. As well, we have another special treat. Mr. Groff also gave us a quick preview of what is to come on his soon to be seen series "Nick Groff Investigates" and you can find the video below. As well, he offers a few words on his recent experiences there. Out of all the impressive locations that he's investigated, for some reason this one really has me intrigued. How about you? “Each location and person I meet on my journey brings new experiences and in depth conversations into the paranormal, life, death and beyond. Most of the locations have not only been selected for the haunting, but people who also own them. NGI was never intended to be all about a locations story. Only way to learn is to speak to the ones who live, sleep and run these locations. I had some incredible conversations with good people who have interesting theories.

I’ve always wanted to investigate Madison Seminary, and now with Adam Kimmell owning the location it was the perfect opportunity. He is doing an amazing job with the location! Well worth the visit if you want to tour the building. Adam and I had an interesting conversation about time, energy and memories left behind inside the building. An incredible location with a lot of history.

At Madison, I got a brief rundown of the history and hauntings. While I was there, I spoke with the owners more in person and they eventually revealed to me a more sinister backstory of the Madison Seminary history. I love it when this stuff happens. You always find out more when you get to have personal conversations face to face with people who've been living in haunted locations.
