Besides having a million different covers for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, the latest issue of Empire also has a few new images from Bryan Singer's film. Four of the pictures have been released, and there are two from the future timeline, and two from the 1970s. The future images feature Ellen Page's Kitty Pryde, Shawn Ashmore's Iceman, Daniel Cudmore's Colossus, Adan Canto's Sunspot, and Ian McKellen as Magneto, and the ones set in the '70s are of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique.
Take A Look:
Many of you were very high on the upcoming film after watching the first trailer, but with the release of the Empire covers, some have expressed concerns about the film because of the design for the future Sentinels, and the very odd costume Evan Peters will be wearing as Quicksilver. It's funny how a couple of curious character and costume designs can make some fans completely bail on a film. Hey, I'm not sold on how the Sentinels and Quicksilver look either, but I don't think the movie will be a failure just because they don't look exactly like the comic book versions.
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Omar Sy, and Lucas Till, and will be in theaters on May 23rd, 2014.
