When the first trailer for Gil Kenan's upcoming POLTERGEIST arrived last month I wasn't too impressed. My issue with what I saw was that it looked to be a carbon copy remake of the original classic, but I don't wanna judge a book by its cover (or a film by its trailer), so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until I see it for myself. I'm just hoping there's some surprises with this take on POLTERGEIST with Kenan adding something original and terrifying to the mix.
