New trailer for Walking With Dinosaurs looks like a perfectly harmless dino adventure

Probably not the reaction everyone will have, but that's what my 4-year old said when he saw this. For the older, cynical crowd it may be the opposite, but let's face it, we're not the dyed-in-the-wool demographic for WALKING WITH DINOSAURS. That said, it's dinosaurs, man! Okay, so they talk and the "moving the herd" story is tiresome as hell, but really it's just a perfectly harmless dino jaunt, complete with some pretty solid looking CGI animation. Did I already say dinosaurs?

There's something mezmerizing about these prehistoric beasts that we keep coming back to and it's nice to see that there's an effort being made to keep them in our minds. Be it Jurassic Park or TV shows like Primeval New World or the Dinosaurs! TV show (kidding), it's cool to see these ancient monsters brought to life on the big screen. Plus, it's way more tolerable than sitting through SMURFS 2 when you have youngsters.
