The case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren are being opened up again this summer for James Wan's THE CONJURING 2. This time, a house in north London that was called "England's Amityville" is at the center of the supernatural activity, with the spirit of Bill Wilkens speaking through the body of an 11-year-old girl. The problem with that is ol' Bill is 72 years old and clearly not of this world anymore. That means more danger, more scares and a new trailer courtesy of New Line, having premiered the new footage over the weekend at WonderCon.
This one is presented as a next-level haunting experience, given what the Warrens are said to have witnessed over the years, and the new trailer will give you a taste of some of it. The eerie feeling persists while Wan and New Line aim to hold back on most of the terror this early in the game. But this is more a reminder that another CONJURING is being conjured up this summer, and, if you dug the first one, you're getting more of the same where that came from.
THE CONJURING 2 is set to scare something up in theaters on June 10.
