New trailer for Neighbors with Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Rose Byrne looks awesome

Yeah, a Zac Efron movie looks hilarious. Not something I ever thought I'd say, but there it is. Playing the frat house leader to the new parents Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, Efron looks right at home in the new trailer for NEIGHBORS, which pits family vs. frat. Director Nicholas Stoller (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT) is at the helm and the hijinks look to be every bit as inventive, crude, and fun as you'd expect from the cast and director. Toss in Dave Franco, who plays a wonderfully comedic version of Robert De Niro's character from MEET THE PARENTS, and this one is stacking up as a win.

Take a look, Focker:

Here's the synopsis:

A couple with a newborn baby face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house.

Efron seems to be making a healthy leap into adult comedic fare with this and THAT AWKWARD MOMENT and it seems very likely that he'll pull off a successful post HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL career. Rogen and Byrne have already shown their comedic skills and continue to offer up solid work in the genre, so that's an easy sell. For my money, NEIGHBORS looks like a safe bet for some hilarious revenge comedy. I'm ready to move in.

NEIGHBORS opens on May 09, 2014.
