New trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice comes smashing in

The latest trailer for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE has arrived and it’s one hell of an interesting mix of footage and scenes. Featuring a bit more of a long-form trailer style, the footage reveals a ton of great interactions, including Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent’s first introduction (and a great insult about “freaks dressed like clowns”) and a kind of mad scientist reveal that’s been teased with Lex Luthor. Perhaps the biggest reveal is that of what appears to be Doomsday or some variation of him, likely from the DNA of the deceased Zod from MAN OF STEEL.

“I thought she was with you…”

Here’s the synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

This just looks like a blast. I know that there is a divisive line for the extreme Marvel/extreme DC groups, but shit, I’m happy to have all of this awesomeness in my life. I love the interactions, the reveals, and the epic scale carnage that’s in store for us. Even with all we’ve seen there’s still room for surprises (and there will be, I assure you) and it’s just great to see these characters on the big screen together for the first time. Dark, action-filled, and with a little humor, this looks comic booky as hell and I can’t wait for the lights to dim so I can watch this sucker in all it’s glory.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE smashes into theaters on March 25, 2016.
