In case you didn’t know, it’s Star Wars day, otherwise known as May The 4th Be with You, so it’s only fitting that we just received a brand new trailer and key art for the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Per Disney+, “The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”
Ewan McGregor is back as the titular character and the series also marks the highly anticipated return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader. The rest of the cast is stacked with great talent that includes Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
Directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold, Obi-Wan Kenobi hits Disney+ on May 27, 2022.
