Our first glimpse of David Ayer's SUICIDE SQUAD arrived during San Diego Comic-Con this summer (after which it was leaked online forcing the studio to officially release the SDCC sizzle reel to the masses) but after a long wait, it looks like the film's first official trailer will be released in just a few weeks.
On January 19, 2016, The CW will air two half-hour specials, DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time is Now and DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League. During the latter special, which will be hosted by Kevin Smith and Geoff Johns and focus on the upcoming films in the DC Cinematic Universe, a brand new SUICIDE SQUAD trailer will be released. If that wasn't enough to get you excited, the special will also contain a behind-the-scenes look at BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE as well as a sneak peek at WONDER WOMAN. Interviews with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Zack Snyder, and Patty Jenkins will also pop up during the special. So again, you can catch all this on The CW on January 19, 2016, or, you know, stop by JoBlo.com. Some possible details on the SUICIDE SQUAD trailer were released yesterday, but it won't be too long until we'll be able to view it for ourselves.
SUICIDE SQUAD will hit theaters on August 5, 2016, with WONDER WOMAN following on June 23, 2017.
