In just ten days, SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY will finally be unleashed, and the first reactions have pegged the film as a highly entertaining ride, and although that may not be enough to make audiences forget about the troubled production which the film went though, it is enough to leave me with an open mind for when I check out the Ron Howard film myself. The latest featurette for SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY dives into the unique look of the film courtesy of cinematographer Bradford Young (ARRIVAL), who explains that "this film had to be natural. It had to be about characters putting their feet on natural surfaces. I just felt like, everything had to be coming from the right place. Whether it be where the camera was placed, whether it be where the lighting was coming from, it all had to feel legitimate." We get to see plenty of great STAR WARS imagery as the featurette moves on to exploring make-up and creatures, as well as Lando Calrissian's wardrobe, which Donald Glover boasts is "really cool."
