Things are rough all over in Basin City based on what these new clips from SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR have to show us. Dangerous dames with guns, crooked politicians with limitless power, beatings on the streets. You had better have a damn good reason to stay in this bloodthirsty town, that’s what I can tell you.

The clips in question feature a stand-off between Eva Green’s femme fatale Ava Lord and Josh Brolin’s Dwight McCarthy; an unlucky gambler played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt going up against Powers Boothe’s Senator Roark, Sin City’s most powerful man; and Gordon-Levitt putting the smack-down on two clueless hoods.
