The project I’m talking about is called EDEN, which is based on the Keary Taylor novel of the same name. Described as a cross between THE HUNGER GAMES and THE TERMINATOR, EDEN’s rundown reads:
A dystopian thriller that follows Eve, a teenage girl living in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is on the brink of extinction and robots that were created to serve humans have turned against them. As Eve struggles to fight the Fallen and help her friends find safety, she must choose between a boy she has always trusted and one who holds the secrets to her past.
Now according to the folks over at Variety independent financier and production company Kerry, Kimmel and Pollack have just snatched up the rights to this little diddy and have already tapped Mark Morgan, Kami Garcia, Brett Hudson and Michael Pollack to produce. No director or scribe has been announced yet.
That’s pretty much all we’ve got on EDEN right now but let’s be honest, isn’t that all you need? Spit some bullets below and let us know how you’re feeling about this one out of the gate as we wait for more EDEN news to come our way.
