New red band trailer for Jaume Balagueró’s [REC] 4: Apocalypse

January 2, 2015 is the day we’ll finally see how this franchise comes to an end as Jaume Balagueró's [REC] 4: APOCALYPSE will officially conclude Angela’s blood-soaked journey on VOD and limited theaters. While the early word on this one has been mixed at best, the latest red band trailer is a ton of fun, delivering all sorts of gooey goods. The only thing I can say that I didn't like about this trailer is that after it does a great job of building up some serious intensity, some dude starts talking over it and telling us how "epic" the franchise is. Alrighty then.

Here's the synopsis:

Angela wakes up in a high-security quarantine facility located in the bowels of an ocean freighter. She’s safe and sound — but unfortunately for her and her unlucky shipmates, this isolated location might just be the perfect incubator for the next mutation of a virus that rips apart bodies and souls.
