New Posters: Halloween, Suspiria, and Anna & the Apocalypse

I don't know about you but I dig the hell out of a good movie poster. Unfortunately, many of them these days are badly photoshopped messes that even a high schooler would get a barely passing grade for in AV class. But good posters are literally works of art and today we have a handful. Some are good, others great, but I'll leave it up for you to decide which is which.

The first is Todd McFarlane's NYCC exclusive poster for Blumhouse's upcoming direct sequel to John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN. It's pretty badass. The next is from the upcoming remake of Dario Argento's SUSPIRIA and features lead actress Dakota Johnson looking like an Amish farmer or something. It's functional. And today's final poster we wanted to make sure to share with you guys is another NYCC exclusive. This time it's for ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE and it's my personal favorite of the bunch – although McFarlane's HALLOWEEN poster is a close second.

HALLOWEEN begins:

40 years since Laurie Strode survived a vicious attack from crazed killer Michael Myers on Halloween night. Locked up in an institution, Myers manages to escape when his bus transfer goes horribly wrong. Laurie now faces a terrifying showdown when the masked madman returns to Haddonfield, Ill. — but this time, she's ready for him.

SUSPIRIA's synopsis goes like this:

A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe's artistic director, an ambitious young dancer and a grieving psychotherapist. Some will succumb to the nightmare — others will finally wake up.

ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE begins after:

A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

After looking through all the posters below, make sure to mark your calendars as HALLOWEEN creeps into theaters October 19th, SUSPIRIA dances with witches October 26th, and ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE sings its happy-ass through the zombie apocalypse starting November 30, 2018.
