To be perfectly honest, I haven’t loved the posters thus far for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. Just not my style, and that’s disappointing considering I think the movie looks utterly awesome. That said, today’s new poster is more to my liking. Here you see Max (Tom Hardy) staring down a horde of high-octane marauders, with the film’s ironic tagline “What a Lovely Day” hovering above the madness. I’m feeling it.
Directed by George Miller, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD goes like this:
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
Warner Bros. will release MAD MAX: FURY ROAD on May 15th.
