We're just hours away from the release of the teaser trailer for THE CONJURING 2, which Warner Bros. and director James Wan teased us with a teaser for yesterday. Ahead of the video, the studio has released a handful of stills online to fuel the hype machine a bit more.
These aren't the most jaw-dropping images, but they do provide the heartwarming sight of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as married paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and they give the impression that things are going to be getting very intense for the couple as they work their latest case.
Based on the story of the Enfield Poltergeist, THE CONJURING 2 finds the Warrens travelling to
1977 England to help single mom Peggy Hodgson and her four children, particularly daughter Janet (played by Madison Wolfe).
Wilson, Farmiga, and Wolfe are joined in the cast by Frances O'Connor, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Lauren Esposito, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon Delaney, Simon McBurney, and Franka Potente.
Wan wrote the screenplay with THE CONJURING writers Chad and Carey Hayes. David Leslie Johnson was then brought on board to do some rewrites.
THE CONJURING 2 reaches theatres on June 10, 2016, and the teaser trailer will be online later today!
