For the crowd at Cannes today is a very a special day as they get to see the first screening ever of the new Quentin Tarantino movie, ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD, like the luckiest bunch of moviegoers they are. The rest of us will have to wait for until summer to see Brad Pitt fight Mike Moh’s Bruce Lee, Leonardo DiCaprio with that impressive handlebar mustache and Margot Robbie dazzle as Sharon Tate, but in the meanwhile, a new trailer has dropped to show off more of the director’s newest epic. I say epic because it should surely rival AVENGERS: ENDGAME in length, and will feature just as large of a cast, to boot.

The first trailer was about as great as everyone was hoping it would be, showcasing some terrific performances and showing a glimpse at Tarantino’s recreation of 1969 Hollywood in all its seedy, slightly sweaty glory. This new trailer shows off a bit more of that and even more of the large cast, which is probably too vast to fit all into one trailer. The final product will probably be like a Where’s Waldo of actors, but if every Waldo was covered in a mop of shaggy hair and looked like they were on heroin.
All in all, we got glimpses at Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, Timothy Olyphant, Lena Dunham, more of Damon Herriman's Charles Manson and Mike Moh's Bruce Lee and with so many more stars left to see in future trailers.
Just yesterday news broke about Tarantino putting out a letter asking everyone who gets to see the movie at Cannes to not spoil it for everyone else on the internet, which is a fair request to make, While we’re all dying to hear about his latest outing perhaps there are more surprises in this than we realize, and may be better left a mystery until opening weekend. I mean, what if this is actually an epic love story between DiCaprio and Pitt and the shock of them embracing for the first time demands to be experienced fresh on the big screen?
