Fox has a ton of superhero movies on their docket, including DEADPOOL 2, X-FORCE and X-MEN: DARK PHEONIX, but before all of that, we will bear witness to the NEW MUTANTS, starring a whole new cast of mutant characters played by Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams and more. The movie is set for April 2018, but we’ve seen incredibly little of the movie (stills, costumes, posters, etc.). That’s all about to change, as new has dropped that the teaser trailer will debut tomorrow a minute after the stroke of midnight (for us in the PST zone) on Friday, October 13. Yes, that is very spooky.
Director Josh Boone took to Instagram to make an ominous announcement regarding the teaser, leaving us with only this little ditty:
The release on this day seems befitting given the stigma attached to Friday the 13th, what with being considered a day for all manner of eerie things. Boone has said the movie is a full-fledged horror flick, taking inspiration from the likes of Stephen King. On top of that, there’s the caption for the pic, “There’s Something New to Fear.” That’s not suspicious at all.
Of course, stay tuned for the teaser and have your speculation and commenting caps on tight!
