New Mission: Impossible – Fallout poster assembles the impressive cast

As the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE movies have added more and more new faces to join Tom Cruise in his world-saving antics the series has assembled quite the impressive ensemble. In the new movie, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT, the movie will bring back some series vets and introduce some new faces, and most of them are on the brand-new poster for the action flick.

Paramount dropped a new poster for the movie in anticipation for a new trailer set for two days from now, and on it we have Cruise, series regulars Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames, returning ROGUE NATION cast members Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson, and newcomers Angela Bassett and Henry Cavill. But, of course, they all have to fight for placement over the towering Cruise.

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

As to be expected, the new poster is a bit of a diversion from the more minimalist teaser poster, which I happen to like a bit more. But this poster is cool too, as it showcases the amazing ensemble. All I can think about though is that new trailer. As much as I love the first one we got it's getting to be that time where we see some new footage. An incredible stunt was discussed at CinemaCon, so we will probably see some of that. What I'm trying to say is make peace with your family and get your affairs in order because your minds will be blown in two days. 

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT arrives July 27.
