New Into the Spider-Verse trailer assembles all the Spider-People (and pig)

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE will bring together all sorts of spider heroes, including Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), Peter Parker (Jake Johnson) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld). Just when you thought that was a lot of web-slinging there’s even more spider-goodness, including Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), Spider-Ham (John Mulaney) and Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn). That’s a lot of spiders, and the new trailer for the animated movie finds them all under one roof as they take on Wilson Fisk (Liev Schreiber) and save Brooklyn.

All of the previews for this movie have been gorgeous, showing off the unique animation style that will make for a Spider-Man outing the likes of which we’ve never seen. The action looks fantastic, the voice cast is on point and, as evidenced in this trailer, it looks hilarious – with much thanks to Spider-Ham. While the MCU Spider-Man is ash and Venom is dividing audiences everywhere, this looks like a stunning way to take Spidey out of 2018 and into the great, new year.

Here is the plot synopsis:

Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind.  Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE arrives December 14.
