We've had our eye on THE SCRIBBLER for quite some time, bringing you a poster for the John Suits-helmed adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name back in November of last year, which we followed up in December with word that the flick had been scooped up by XLrator for a fall 2014 release. Just last month we brought you the weird trailer for the Katie Cassidy-starring film, and now we've landed a few new images as well as word on when you can finally check THE SCRIBBLER out!
XLrator has dated THE SCRIBBLER for a September 19 release on VOD, iTunes, and in theaters. The film, written by Daniel Schaffer, who also penned and illustrated the original 2006 graphic novel on which the film is based, concerns…
Suki (Katie Cassidy), a young woman confronting her destructive mental illness using "The Siamese Burn," an experimental machine designed to eliminate multiple personalities. The closer Suki comes to being "cured," she's haunted by a thought… what if the last unwanted identity turns out to be her?
The film also stars Garret Dillahunt, Michelle Trachtenberg, Michael Imperioli, Gina Gershon, Sasha Grey, Kunal Nayyar, Ashlynn Yennie, Eliza Dushku, and Billy Campbell.
Check out some new imagery from the film below and look for THE SCRIBBLER to land on September 19.
